Oh my words! They laid!

The silver sebright and the mille fluer d'uccle, the ones we've been waiting for to come online, presented us with two little eggs today nestled up to the dutch bantie's egg already in the nest box.

Oh yeah. Happy, happy, egg dance of joy.

All hens are laying. I'm not at all excited. Really.

Hours later and I'm still dancing, still going outside and telling those silly hens how happy I am for them.

I can't wait to order 8 more this winter for spring.

I've got chicken fever! Girl is begging me for a d'uccle rooster. She just might get her wish.
