If it's leathery it will most likely need you to help it out. If you wait to long it may not make it. It depends on how much of a fighter he is. One of my other ones died in the shell but the one I helped out was a tough little one he hung on for days. If I would have helped the other one out sooner I think it would have lived too. It was another splash baby

I finally found my pic of the egg I was working on. Here is what I had after 20 min of work...I just kept peeling the shell away:

I don't think it made it. Its been totally still for a couple hours and is not responsive. On the bright side I have another one with a pip so maybe the humidity drop didn't ruin the hacth totally....
