I think the water would have to rise about 500 feet above the Towantic Brook (a creek about 10 feet across and a foot deep) for us to have the problems you had. You be careful!

We have our usual runoff issue... the neighbors yards are hillside... we're at the bottom. The next neighbor over gets an actual lake out back, we only get a river through the middle.
