thanks so much, i am going to check into everything that you guys said to do. Im glad to hear that the welsummers are good quality. It worried me when i read a post saying they culled theirs because they were such poor quality.

I purchased welsummers from them and compared to the ones I got from Cackle, they were small. standard size but small. that said, I can't tell who lays what egg so the eggs are the same size, good large eggs. for feed efficiency, smaller might be better.
