I'm so sorry for your loss. What did animal control say? Are there no leash laws that would make them at least need to pay a fine this time for damage to someone else's property/livestock?


In some ways I like the paint ball idea just so they know "I can & will" & perhaps wipe that smirk off their face. & also then when people see the paint they'll have to repeat why it's there & nothing like having to own up to irresponsibility.... . & it's a "stinging kind of warning" though you have given them a warning already now.

Again I'm sorry I know it hurts and is so truamatizing to have something attacking your chickens...

least here in PA, if you shoot a dog with a paintball gun you'd be in the news for "animal abuse.."
