After weeks and weeks of endless waiting -- well, maybe it was only 14 days -- but you know how time drags and drags when you are waiting for fluffy bundles of happiness
-- our babies are here!!
We now have two brooders with 57 cheeping chicks (31 regular chicks in one and 26 bantams in the other)
We haven't had chickens for awhile and we were SO SO SO ecstatic that they arrived and were just as cute and adorable and wonderful and funny as we remembered them being. We had agreed to not name the chickens (straight run) until we knew who was staying/laying and who would be chilling (in the freezer), but I was the first to break the rule
and named the littlest bantam, who we think is a Red Pyle OEG, Sweet Pea. Too much fun!

Thankful for my Lord, my husband, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 dogs, and 57 fluffy balls cheeping of love
