Oh, the smell of burning hair

My cat is nothing toworry about .We only have fake candles, you know the QVC ones. But i managed to get hot grease on my right arm while i fried up some pork chops and the grease "exploded". I still have scars on my arm. Didnt hurt that much at first, but later oy vey.

You not only need to watch your cats, my DD once backed up against a window sill with a burning candle on it and burned her hair, she was like, "mom whats that smell?" It did not burn her so all was well but I don't have many candles these days!

Our banty cochin loves LOVES LUUUUUVVVZZZ the heat lamp. Last winter I picked her up one day to find that she had burned off the feathers on one wing and all the feathers on one thigh. It smelled a-w-f-u-l. I'm waiting for her to go through a molt to get her feathers back.
