We got our first egg! Girls are 20 wks. the ones that have laid are BSL, we were so excited. Kids called Grandpa & Grandma, aunt , uncle & friend [I believe they think we are a little crazy!] . I wasn't going to post it but just couldn't resist any longer.
We actually got the very first one last Thursday, at about noon, that's the one in the pic.We were so impressed that they actually got in the nest box the very first time they laid! Then it was Sun. before we got another. We just kept checking and no egg.
Finally Sun. we were out after church and my son yells 'there's 2 on the nest box'. So then we all sit around and wait. I say this is like waiting on a baby, thank goodness it's them and not me! So, I didn't want to bother them but couldn't resist sneaking a pic. They looked so sweet and they were probably saying ' please, can we get a little privacy here!'. So we left them alone and waited a little longer, checked again and we see an egg!
Anyway, went back out this morning, and one of the girls is already going in the nest box, that was a 7:00 this morning. We now have our 4th egg. Awsome![/img]
