No problem! Glad you liked the pie, it was a hit with my in-laws (now they want more

). I also made delicious jam from the mulberries. If you are feeling domestic and ambitious, I highly suggest it. I just followed the instructions on the box of pectin. My DH is actually wanting PB & J sandwiches for lunch!
The canning process is a bit labor intensive, but I am giving a few varieties of homemade bread and jam baskets out for Christmas. So, I feel like I am getting a (cheaper) jump on Christmas...

Unfortunately, right now I don't have any seedlings. I am going to try to throw a few berries in a bucket o' dirt and see what comes of it. I'll let ya know if I get any sprouts!

Thank you~

I had an idea when I was making jam and the seeds were floating to the surface...send me your address and I will try to dig some seeds out of the berries and send those along in an envelope. Brilliant, and so much easier than shipping live plants...

Thats awesome thanks! Pm sent.

I made mulberry pie last year too! No one had ever heard of it, but wow was it yummy. We also made mulberry-raspberry pie. A question for you -- we couldn't pull all the little tiny green stems of the berries. How did you handle that?

My brother and sister-in-law have a mulberry tree in their yard. The kids climb in it and pick the berries. They return to the house with purple faces and hands! I picked some and made a yummy cobbler this spring. We liked it better than the dewberries we also have around here. The mulberries don't have the little seeds that dewberries have. Also I just ignored the little stems. They weren't noticeable after baking!
