I'm just down the street from you, kind of lol. I live in Weathersfield Township. I have 14 cayugs duck eggs in the incubator. If they hatch, it will be my first ducks, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Ooooh! I wish I'd known someone here was hatchin' Cayugas! My kids have been begging for ducks for over a year! I finally ordered them Friday, but I had to order a min of 10 to get the 5 that I wanted, but hopefully, these ducks will hatch out more!

I'm new to chickens, actually, I'm not even "new to them" yet, because I have none so far! Its the plan though. Hope I will have more to share, soon!

I am from South East Ohio in between Glouster and Mcconnelsville. I have been around chickens my whole life mostly. I am now building my "own" flock. The breeds and the decisions are exciting! I am looking for Marans(any variant), Welsummers, Barnevelders, Buff Orphington or Jersey Giants and Americaunas. I would drive up to 100 miles to get eggs/chicks or hopefully adult birds! PM me if you have any of these birds! I have a large coop and run!

Hello fellow Ohioans! I'm in Columbus right now and although we do not have chickens, next year DH and I hope to purchase a few acres, so I'll get my flock started then. In the meantime, I'll admire all your pictures and adventures.

Got my meaties today. 75 from Schlect. 78 shipped and 2 Doa. Too many to actually count but there is a lot of them. They rushed the waterer and a couple might not recover from their first bath. Besides that they are doing great.

Hello, my name is Courtney. I live in Goshen, Ohio in Clermont County. I just bought my first incubator and an trying my hand at hatching some of my own chicks. I'll know May 1st how successful I am. I'm so excited to see what they look like. My rooster is a Rhode Island Red and I have a two Americauna, two Wyandotte and a mystery hen. Candling has been tough with the brown eggs but was able to see some movement a few days ago. Hopefully, I'll have pics soon of my new babies!

Hello there, I'm actually from Michigan, only 30 miles northwest of Toledo. My question is, has anyone been to Ohio's Troy Swap. I was thinking about going, but I wanted a little information from anyone who has been there before I make the 2-1/2 hour drive.
Thanks in advance

Judy
