OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I wish I were ready

I can't free range and am getting more chickens for my new flock so I'm widening my covered run. We have tons of hawks and coyotes here. My coop came with my property and is really big so my teenage chicks can live inside a little while until I finish the fencing but the designing of an addition on a slope against my goat pen is making my head hurt.

I used a carport frame I got on Amazon Warehouse. The box was damaged so I didn't have to pay full price. Then I used a 25' × 50' net over the whole thing. My problem was I didn't have a roof structure over my run to put anything on. It was t posts and welded wire fence.

So I see this thread started in 07! I guess we are really late to the game but finally here! OH!

Hello! We are in Mount Vernon, and I'm looking to add a Lavender Orpington to my flock. Does anyone know of a place where I can pick up a pullet?

Cedar Crest Farm in Kirtland lists them on their website. Lavender cuckoo. $59 straight run. $99 pullet. $10 hatching egg. Think that's 2- 2 1/2 hours from you...
