Do any of you guys sell eggs and what are you charging? We were charging 1.50 per dozen, 1.25 each for two dozen or more. Originally, people were looking at us like they thought that was expensive. Now, people are beginning to ask us for eggs, and they're looking at us like they think that's cheap. Ohio is notoriously cheap, so what d'ya think?

I'm in NE Ohio and also ask $3.

I just raised it to 3.50 as I had a customer tell me that $3.00 was too cheap. Always nice to hear.

In the Toledo area, they were asking $4 at the farmers markets. Mine are free, if you don't count all the money we spend on the coop, treats, toys, treatments if necessary, and feed, lol.

Yeah, that's why we sell them. But no way are we making any profit, lol. For the same reasons as you.

I do my best to use egg money only on the chickens. It really is that I just have too many eggs! I swear we eat fewer now then before we had a steady supply. I guess since we know we have them fresh whenever we want.
