OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hi! Have a good one too, Knobby!

How is Ursula doing? Is she sitting yet?
Thanks HenriettaPizzaNolan. It was a great day to work outside around the coop area. Very soft ground still, but it'll be spring soon enough.

Ursula is doing great. I've caught her sitting a few times, but haven't allowed for her to go all too broody just yet. I'm gonna try and time a batch of eggs with her while I do a batch in the incubator simultaneously.

Haha I love it! You could do a little competition of who has a better hatch rate: chicken or machine.

But the cool thing is, even if Ursula doesn't do as well as the incubator, you can still sneak the hatched incubator chicks under her at night and she'll raise them well. :)

You read my plans out to a T...compare the success rates of each method, and reward Ursula with new babies to allow her to enjoy parenthood once again.
