We had a great time! There is a pic of us posted in the meet-up thread. I believe there were 5 families represented-we brought deserts to eat and talked chickens while our kids ran around on the playground and stuffed themselved with cupcakes

It was really nice to meet and chat with other people who "get" chickens and actually like to spend time talking about them!

Hi, lived in Mansfield the first 19 years of my life, Elyria for 2 but have been in Virginia many years, you would be suprised how many former buckeyes I have met here! Kim

I'm in the little dip of land just 2 miles south of the shore of Lake Erie, in Ottawa County. It's nice to see that there are so many bird people in my area!

I am in Harrison County Ohio in a little town so small, people get lost trying to find us LOL New Rumley Oh, birthplace of General George Armstrong (not thrilled about that, as I am part Native American...go figure right?) I am about 30 minutes from WVa and we go to Steubenville and Dover, New Phila area (depending on which way we want to go) to shop as both are about the same distance for us.

I have nearly 100 poultry on 7 acres.

Hey fellow Buckeyes! Anyone want some chicks? I posted over in the BST area also. I have too many Dominiques! Come and get a few! Sorry I can't ship chickens! We live outside Coshocton.

Hi MistyLady - put an ad on Craig's List - you'll be amazed at the calls you get!! I do that with baby chicks and have had good results, but alot of people want pullets or hens that are already laying. You'll sell them in no time! Good luck!

Hi! I'm from east central Ohio - about 60 miles west of Pittsburgh... near a little town called Mechanicstown. I'm new to this site - my cousin sent me a link to here after she got me started with chickens and guineas! I'm a farm girl and I currently have 5 golden comets and 2 guinea keets, but I want some more chickens and would like to have turkeys eventually! My husband and I also have cattle and raise hogs to sell for freezer pork.
