Ooooohhh! We'll be near the one in Huber Heights later today. I can't buy any right now as our brooder is also our whelping box but I'll at least go in for a chick fix!FYI, Rural King has started their chic days. The one in Tiffin has RIR and Cal Grey Leghorn Pullets ($1.99) and Barred Rock and Buff Orpingtons Straight Runs ($1.39). They also have Pekin and Khaki Ducks for $4.99.
Had to restrain myself.
That's great to hear! Please post pictures!Just wanted to let everyone know, my husband and I are beginning to build our first coop.... We are using all recycled material, mainly pallets!!!![]()
LOL! I love Champions! I'm bringing in some silkie eggs for them to incubate and hatch in the store...They are hoping to get a webcam going to feed the hatching live on their Facebook page. I hope that when I take in those eggs next week I will be able to leave WITHOUT chickies...geez....WARNING!!!
If you are trying to fight the chick addiction might want to stay away from Champion Feed in Delaware--"Chick Days" have begun, they got their first order in Friday and the EE's are absolutely adorable...Buff Orps, and I think Barred Rocks and Golden Comets...but don't rely on me, I was mesmerized by those darn EE's.....
Stay away....stay very far away.....must resist.....sigh.

We will be using old barn doors from my Grandmother's farm and using windows we found at the local ReStores so I guess ours will be mainly recycled as well.
I love all the cool furniture and buildings people are making out of pallets these days! Can't wait to see your pics! I"m curious about what you'll use for roofing.
