I've got 5 hens that are of laying age and they have been laying 4 eggs a day for the last month or so. Most days I get 5 eggs but somedays I have one or the other that doesn't lay for some reason, it's not always the same one.

I have 3 Cuckoo Marans and 2 Jersey Giants that are of laying age.

I go to Jeromesville a few times a year with our competition dogs.

It's 10x10 with a 15x20 run (I think) I have about 3x10ft of storage space inside. The only downside thus far is my hubby put the poop board up and the door separating the inside up...and I'm concerned about the roosting space being too small. As it sets...they'll have 7-8" of roosting space only. I have mostly wyandottes...so it's on the small side. We'll see how it works out.

Does anyone know of anyone is southwestern Ohio who sells turkens? I've been searching for them for awhile now with no luck. I thought about hatching eggs but my kids can't keep their hands off my incubator, and I would rather not ship them.

Not sure when the Lucasville swap is but there is one in Springboro next saturday on the 6th. For anyone looking for good buckeyes, there will be some there early. Not sure how long they will last.
