Im up in Summit County and have six chicks!!!! I have a friend with over 30 chickens as well!!!

He is technically not a partridge either. He has a neat color but who knows what all made that up. When you cross colors, it brings out some crazy combinations. He is neat either way.

I was born in Newark, graduated from Heath and lived all over the place in between (dad was a civilian government agent). I'm now in Bettsville in Seneca County and loving every minute of it! I'm new to chickens but have been doing my homework for the last couple years to make sure I was ready to take care of our little fuzzballs lol I'm now happy to say we are the proud family to six Isa Browns and six Rhode Island Reds!!!

We are in the country near Troy, north of Dayton.
Owned chickens for just a year.
Had my first chicks hatch this week with my first broody hen.
I am totally hooked on chickens.

Call the Ohio Poultry Association not the Dept of Ag. The cost is $35 annually plus mileage, if you agree to the AI testing program they will waive the mileage fee. After your initial visit the pollorum and AI testing are done annually.
