OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hey, Can anyone tell me of other breeds of chickens, beside araucanas, ee's, that have gray-green legs? I have a mystery chicken Murray sends that has this color legs. It greatly resembles the araucanas, but just a little different. And all of a sudden, it is larger than the other chicks. They are 7 wks old. We are just trying to figure out what it is. They usually send a roo, but he doesn't look like one yet. Just wondering!

So DH is on board for the swap (does not trust me to attend alone) I don't think I will be looking for anything. Although a couple pretty blue egg layers would have to come home with me :) I know I will have some young hens to find homes for. Unless someone grabs them sooner. It is getting a bit crowded around here.

can you post a picture?

if someone says they want it, and i have it extra im going to bring it.  eggs, chicks or adults.  if anyone wants anything special, just let me know and ill do what i can to make sure i have it there.

I wish I knew for sure. If I can figure out my schedule for work I would love some black silkie pullets if you'd have them.

This sounds interesting, not too far from me!  I've got a handful of young roos that I need to move....Crested Cream Legbars, Mille Fleur Leghorns, Catalanas, and possibly a Lavender Orpington.  As well as a couple older pet Silkie roosters.  Are you expecting a good turn out?

Do you sell hatching eggs or pullets of the Millie leghorns? It is on my want list. Hehehe

It sounds like there are going to be a lot of roos at the meet!! Will there be a lot of interest in roos? I have a pair of Egyptian Fayoumis roos, 1 blue andalusian splash roo, and probably 3-5 Buckeye roos. They Egyptian and andalusian are hatcherie stock, the buckeye bought from a buckeye breeder here on byc. My friend has several roos she would like to rehome. I don't know what kind she has. I know they have silkies, but not sure of other breeds. I would be interested in wyandotts, welsummers, and I want more, more, French or copper marans! Or any other different breeds than what I already have.! I don't need any more roos, so I would be interested in pullets.
I'm really getting excited about the meet! I can't wait to see what everyone has!

loveourbirds, What all do you have? And are the dark brown leghorns you have roos or hens? I mentioned it to my dh, and he seemed interested in them.

I just got started with the MFL, so I don't have eggs yet. They are only 1-2 months old. I might be willing to sell a couple pullets though, I'm still waiting to confirm sex on the youngest ones, so depending on how my numbers turn out.........

If you decide to sell I would be interested in a trio. They are too pretty. Please let me know if you do decide to.
