OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I think the leghorn you are after is called the pearl- white leghorn for best white egg layers..they are supposed to have a 12/14 week longer season also for laying.from what I have read they are supposed to lay 15/21 days straight then have a day off then repeat again during they laying season.i have 2 in my flock and although I have never actually counted or tested this I awalys have a couple white eggs in there.

2 sizzles out and 2 more pipped. Only 4 eggs made it to lockdown. Both have black skin, 5 toes on both feet, and vaulted skulls!
Hooray!!! Is that good for sizzles? Post a pic! Do you know how to download pics from a flip phone? I don't want to use my digital camera as I have about 350 pics on it and I don't want to have to download all of them for a couple of pictures. I want to post a pic of the chicks I bought from you. I threw a pen up outside for them this morn so they could get some sunshine and excercise. They love it!!! My mini schnauzer will sit and watch them for a long time. I think she feels motherly to them. They aren't afraid of her either. So Cute!!

thank you what about Easter eggers?
I have had ee's for a few years now and mine have layed very well. Right now the ones I got last year are molting, but I was getting 4-6 eggs a week from the two. I have 3 more that should start laying in 4-6 weeks. They have always been a good layer for me. I purchased mine from Murray McMurray. My Rosecombed brown leghorn (white egger), also from Murray, is 4-5 yrs old and this summer she has slowed down, and I think she is molting also, but she was laying about 2-3 a week. I also have 3 more of them coming up to start laying soon. Also red star, and black star, also from Murray, have been very good layers of brown eggs. The leghorns and stars are two of the breeds I started my flock with and I always go back to them, along with the cuckoo maran, and there was another i started with but can't remember it right now. OH I remember now! Porcelain bantys! They have been good also. I still keep buying them.
