Pic heavy! (Sorry guys, DH and kiddo don't like my chickens so I can only share this "boring" stuff that excites me here.. and yeah, the camera is crap.)

The birds spent their first day in the new (puny) run! I still have to sit outside and watch them since there's no cover and hawks galore, but generally they were happy birdies and I was a much happier bird mommy!

You should! lol. They are so sweet! The black Cochins want nothing to do with me, the other two LCs are friendly to boot, but this little one wants to be nowhere but on my lap or shoulder.

Thank you for reminding me on the recognition part, cluckitall! I want to make sure to bring nametags to the Delaware swap for everyone to fill out their "real" names and their BYC name...otherwise I wouldn't know a soul!

I have one who will be 15/16 weeks by the day of the swap. I bought my first chicks & eggs from a lady who had EE's and ameraucanas. I thought I bought a mix of both but wound up with only one EE so I wouldn't mind parting with her. Tomorrow I can post a couple pics of her if you might be interested.

Thanks guys! I tried showing pics to DH and he was like "Meh..whatever. Where's the tv remote?". Kiddo is like "Aw look a chicken. ...Can I play with the water hose now?". Mom is "Real chickens? " (even though her kitchen is decorated in them..) Dad is "They make great stew." And sis is a city girl who balks even at my baby chicks.
..Nice to have you lovely chicken folk. LOL.
