Well, no polish ordered yet. I think I goofed when I let it slip that we're going through a 50 bag of layer now in 3-4 days. Might have to scale back a titch before I get my polish.

Which one is this? I would love to go to one this spring, but our weekends are committed this month. Is it only on Sunday? I could go on Monday, but they probably don't run on weekdays. Oh Well, I really don't need to go as I have all the chickens we can handle at this time. At last count we had 31. This is the most we have ever had and poor DH had to redo our coops a little to accommodate them all.

The Eaton swap is put on by the Dayton Fancy Feather Club. It is at the Preble County Fairgrounds. It starts before daylight Sunday morning, runs till maybe early afternoon. Usually better quality birds than you find at your average swaps.

Wow, haven't been on way longer than I thought! Hope everyone is doing well and are adding plenty of new chicks to their flock!

Speaking of that, I will be in Vinton County on a weekend trip on May 17-18. Any Marraduna Basque breeders down that way? I'd love to get some chicks or hatching eggs.

Wow, that IS a nice little discount, eh? That would be great if we had any way to haul that much feed home. I find another reason everyday that we desperately need a truck..
