Thanks for the info! If you come across a reputable breeder of pygmys, that breed healthy, pure pygmys, could you let me know? I'm going to start with a couple of females I think. I'm not a big craigslist fan. Thanks! I tried to put the waiting emoticon here just to practice, but it didn't work. How do I get it from that website to here? Sorry, I don't do a lot of posting from website to website.

Is there a place on here where you can save those type of things? I looked on my personal profile, preference page and didn't see a file or anything to store, unless I didn't recognize it. If there isn't there should be. I know it would probably use up a lot of space, but if they could give us a small file to use, it would come in handy. I tried to copy/paste it in my pics here, but it didn't work either. I would like to be able to save a post that I would want to remember, like the smilie sites you posted. It would be nice not to have to search and search for something someone posted with good info in it. And there might be, but I don't know where to find it.

Will do! I don't know of any such feature on BYC, but I agree, that'd be handy! Maybe you should bring it up in the suggestions forum.

I don't know of any better way to save them that makes them quicker to access, wish I did. To post them here, find the one you want to use and it (if it's on a site like the ones I posted that are forum-friendly) should either have codes already with it to copy and paste, or like on sherv, you can click "Get Codes". Then copy the whole forum code and paste it directly here in the comment box. (Some, like pic4ever, you have to copy the forum/img code and add it here like you would a normal picture, just paste the code in the "image url" box.) Should do the trick.

We moved the last pen into the run today. Had to take down part of my fence to do it, but all this years chicks are in it and my one year olds are adjusting. We put a second temporary fence cutting the run in half until the chicks grow two more weeks.Oh, Fester still practicing his crow. Sounds slightly better than a stepped on cat.We also finished securing holes by the gate, placed field rock and dirt over dig barrier, and planted flowers, veg and herbs for the flock. Will post pic tomorrow since I forgot to take a picture of our efforts. Brainfart on me!

Didn't lock chicks in pen last night and big mistake. I lost a EE chick to coon, mink or weasel. She as pulled thru the 1"x2" spaces. Nothing but feathers and a few bones found. :(

This little ball of adorable hatched here last night! Not only my first homegrown duckling, but my first duckling to hatch period. :weee The stupid Brinsea is especially fond of killing my duck eggs.. This little tyke had a few siblings that should have hatched with it, but they all quit in lockdown. I dubbed him/her "Special".
