My lil fluffy butts arrived this AM! I lost one SLW pretty early on. Everyone else seems to be doing pretty good! I'll get some pictures up soon!! By the way they came from Meyer.

Is anyone here a member of an Ohio poultry club--for breeding and showing? I know there's southeast and a west central Ohio clubs, but I was wondering if there were any others, especially closer to central Ohio. Thanks!

Can't wait to see pics! I think we are putting off buying chicks this year due to an upcoming litter of puppies (our whelping box is also our brooder!) and a vacation in a few months. I need to live vicariously through someone and get my chick fix!

2 of my little fuzzy ones..the rest were hard to get a hold of! They still run from me (as to be expected though- they're only a few days old!) My kids are enthralled with them!

They kinda have..my oldest Jack (6) says he's going to call one "Jill". Nick (4) says he's going to name one "soup" (daddy helped on that one!). We have 15 and the only ones I can tell apart right now are the RIR, and the SLW. I think I know which ones are BR. But the BR, Australorps and my GLW all look crazy similar.
