So sorry for the loss of one of your little ones. We currently have a little stream running from the side of our backyard onto our driveway which slopes down into the street. The turtles that hide around our land and neighbors have all come out to play and we have a few wondering around the driveway. My hopes for a full day of weeding is out. GrrrReally hating this rain. I live on a hill and yet my yard is still turning into a pond.I kept all the chicks locked up today because there are some pretty deep puddles. Then I went to check on the babies upstairs and one had died. It was wobbly yest and then started to act fine. This morning it is beside the brinsea brooder dead. Guess Mother Nature was reducing my numbers for me. Everyone else is happy and running around.

Sending good vibes that it's all dried up. One of our trees is starting to uproot do to the rain and wet ground. DH went out side during a break to tie it up against the house to give it support so we don't loose it. Right in the middle a huge downpour hit. Sufficed to say he got a second shower today. This time fully clothed. LolI wanted to mulch. I just let the older ones out of the coop because it finally stopped. There was massive flooding this morning when I went out to eat. I'm glad I live on a hill otherwise it could have been a lot worse than a pond and a stream. The play pen is still flooded so I'm hoping by the time I get back after running around it dries up so they can run around for awhile.
I live in Stow Ohio north of Akron. I want to warn you all that we now have mink in Stow. I lost 30 chickens to that nasty little critter.
