OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

they came from a breeder line in western Ky. im not sure of the farm name but I can find out. unfortunately I don't know what I have in salmon faverolles yet. I have a true mess in one pen, the salmon faverolles, Russian orloffs, sweedish flower (if I have any) basque chicks, golden cuckoo marans, and black ameraucanas. - the aracaunas are easy to spot for obvious reasons. the rest have had me scratching my head for over a month. I separated out a pair of what I thought were orloffs, and realized one has feathered legs

How old are the salmon favorelles?

if you guys don't find any blue egg layers before spring, I will probably have some good black ameraucanas. I would just like to make sure of their egg color before I make any promises.

I would live to be kept in the loop too for these please.

I don't know if your interested in EE but I should have some EE eggs/chicks this fall. These girls are several generations in and are laying a very pretty blue eggs. No pink or brown or white eggs. Father was a white ameracauna roo. I should have some pics of some of them growing out in my profile. In the spring I will also have eggs/chicks from my black/blue ameracaunas. Can produce black/blue/splash chicks.

Took this tonight and thought I'd share for funsies. This is one of my darling little bantam chicks from loveourbirds. Adore these little guys, Brian!
This one fell asleep on my hand when I was hanging out with them..not sick or dead lol.
