Hmmmm, I think the silkie chick is blue which mean my roo is not black like he looks.

Loveourbirds, do you have a blue Cochin roo?

i do but not extra, i have him with a mottled hen - they are a little large for bantams but have excellent leg feathering and overall type. i cant think of anyone else who has them for sure. if you cant find one, we may be able to figure out something.

No no no. I was wondering cause I'm about 90% positive this Cochin chick is blue. Would that be possible if you remember where you had her of course.

she was in with a black rooster. i cant think of any exposure to any other color.

i looked in my notebook, and i dont have any record of her being with any other rooster - i dont always write them down.

when i brought her to the swap, was she was in a long cage divided into 5 compartments - in a cage by herself? thats the only time i can think of that she may have been exposed.

Checked my eggs today and only one isn't developing. Somehow I missed the detached air cell but ill still take it. It's only day 4! I'm gonna wait until day 14 to do it again.
