OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hi all. I just wanted to stop by and see if anyone would be interested in buckeye chickens. They are the only chickens created in Ohio, for Ohio weather and environments. And they are my personal favorites as well. If you want any more info on them, send me a pm. I'll be happy to help you out.

Well I found a crested cream legbar rooster unless I find one more in the color I want.
400
he had frostbite so he doesn't have any points left. He's still healing from frostbite too.

He's purdy, Mandy!
Same here, coop-er! I couldn't hold off using them for the cake this weekend so I cracked one and cooked it up for taste testies. I agree with minihorse, a little "eggier" than a chicken egg, but still very good!

Already have a few Josh...not my best layers!

Uhg, the reason i quarantine even if they come from a trusted friend! While carrying the new CCL roo to the quarantine pen I noticed him rattling while breathing. Think it's just the remnants of pneumonia but we'll see. Garrrrrrrr!

4 barred rock, 2 more tetra tints, 4 buff Orpington, and 3 golden comets added to the layer pullets tonight. I've gotta stop buying chicks.

Can I just barrow yours for a few days to get some business done on my hen! lol I only have one hen and her mate didn't mate it through the winter she is laying now too!

Anyone have Russian orloff hatching eggs? EBay has them but they're way too expensive and I don't trust them. Heir pics all come from Google images...

I'm located south of Columbus.

Thanks!

I would Stevens but he had something respiratory going on and I don't want to pass that to someone elses birds. He's locked up away from my other birds in case we need to cull him.

Wanted to say though that you're more than welcome to him once he's treated, healthy, and i find another roo that is more cream in color and lighter overall.
