There is a fancy feathers show at the Greenville Fairgrounds the last weekend of April. It is a pretty good size show. There is also a swap for poultry and animals at the Troy Fairgrounds the same weekend. That is just north of Dayton on I-75
 
Hi everyone. I am in indiana but only a couple miles from the ohio line. I plan on attending the troy swap. I have Heritage Plymouth Rock in a few colors. Hoping to find a few more there. Really looking for broody Plymouth, if anyone knows of one for sale let me know. Thanks.

Dagnabbit, Mandy. Those are handsome fellers! Especially love that last white dude. Hopefully you've already gotten rid of these guys, or I might have to make room for yet another rooster. LOL. I wish they'd do the same in KY. A lot of the cops are even involved in the fighting, so no one gives a hoot. Adverts are even placed on craigslist where I come from blatantly advertising fighting birds and offering to let you "watch them" there. Makes me sick to my stomach. I'm always up for another. :D And since my MG scare turned out to just be weather-related issues, I might have fun stuff to bring, too. Hehe. Gah! They're adorable. I'll have quite the colorful silkie/sg flock going on here. They need to be kept in a bedded stall and just turned out on grass occasionally. They also need high perches to get the tail off the ground. They have to be kept in smaller breeding groups to prevent breakage also. Btw, the white boy is still here. He's a heck of a free ranger!

That and the price, of course. As fragile as birds are, It'd be a crying shame to spend that much and lose them to some random illness.

You know, I've been thinking about finding some roos or something no one wanted and testing free-ranging around here. Plenty of land, trees, ponds, food and other fun stuff for them, I've just been worried about the dogs. If a few bachelors can survive, I'll start letting the whole flock out. I may just take any of those roos you have left tomorrow.

I have lots of people who always set up at lucasville and they said they went to ross county to pick out there spots and most got their money back for their spaces and they are going to the new lucasville swap. I doubt ross county is going to be all that grand
