OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

So excited here...Despite winter's last gasp we road-tripped yesterday and picked up a beautiful batch of babies, including real Ameraucanas (BBS), English Lavender Orpingtons, Light Sussex, and, on impulse, Chocolate Orpingtons that will be bigger than a bantam but smaller than lf....they are adorable! Now...crossing my fingers that most...all...will be girls, but regardless, they are beautiful!

I ordered some chocolate plymouth rock eggs this spring. Not sure if I am going to get them or not from the seller but I hope so. I love chocolate!

Good luck with that! Gotta have something to do with anything that has "chocolate" as part of it's name...much more enticing than "Brown Orpington," or "Brown Plymouth Rock." And then babies are adorable, of course...

More taking about swaps I can't wait! I'm thinking maybe we should hold one in Mount Orab May 3rd if that works for everyone?? If you are interested in doing this let me know =)

Central Ohio here :)

and to the ohio thread! What kind of chickens do you have?

Does anyone happen to know how long TSC is doing chick days? I have someone that wants to wait until the 12th to get them?

Doesn't it usually run until June or July? I have a terrible memory. I imagine @minihorse927 would be more knowledgable about this than me lol.

It is the 26 & 27 of April. Same weekend as Greenville. It is at the fairgrounds, i think miami county. Exit 78 off of I-75. Got to www.troyswap.com Will be going to this one and since greenville is only like 15 minutes from home will probably stop there on the way home depending on what i have bought so far.

Thank you. I'm probably gonna check it out!
