OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

We just moved to Hopedale, Ohio and would love to start raising chickens. I wanted to buy Pullets or young hens. Any idea where a good place to buy them around here is?

Mt Hope Swap is this weekend, 18th & 19th. I have several heritage turkey poults, 2-3 months old available if anyone is interested, however, due to the fragile nature of poults, I will not take them unless someone wants them. I do not want them sitting there all weekend being stressed. I only live 26 miles from the swap, so anyone wanting to pick them up directly from my farm is welcome to do that to help reduce the travel stress on them. PM me if interested. I also have a few ancona ducklings & lots of chicks of various ages available.

hey @SilkieSensation! Wanted to let you know one of the girls I got from you is lilac! Double blue plus chocolate! I've held back 8 hens and 2 drakes for next year. I've got 4 or 5 left growing out also and will decide if I keep any once they are mostly feathered. I've held back 1 black and 1 blue drake, 2 or 3 blue hens and 5 black hens, and the lilac.

Hey gang, anyone know of any pullets for sale in Northeast Ohio. We were hoping to get some australorps in the spring bit I don't want our sole teenager to overwinter alone. I'm open to other breeds. Looking for a half dozen or so.
