OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

They sound dandy. I haven't tried quail before, but I think I would like it. I wouldn't have an issue handling an adorable bird often.

While I'm thinking about it, could everyone share their recommended livestock vets with me. I'd like to interview some vets for a research project. I wanted to get a nice mix of answers and points of view. I could just email vets randomly, but I figured starting with ones people specifically recommend would be better. If everyone could tell me why they like their vets that would be of great help as well. Thanks!

@minihorse927 I keep thinking about getting coturnix when I have more room. Are they a good bird to have?

@Alexandra33 I like going to Upper very much. We go up for the pumpkin patch and Hope Clinic. I only ever buy my pumpkins up there and haven't been disappointed. I have one on my steps right now from last year. I'm both impressed and disturbed that it is still in good shape. The one before it lasted until the following summer.
Upper is gorgeous, isn't it?

Even downtown is so clean and lovely.

I don't actually live IN Upper, but it's about 20 minutes from here.

@Alexandra33 I really love Upper's downtown area. I always want to stop, but we spend too much at the pumpkin patch

I've got an assortment of colors in coturnix for sale if anyone's interested. Located in Adams county. :)

Minihorse look at the bumblebees you have! ohh my, so cute! I wish I could get some right now! I really do, but we are not ready for them still. We are going to wait till spring and get the pens built over winter.Trying to finish up the new run by Monday when I go to day shift to start 4 yrs of job training.

I'll still have them in the spring. They hached the 22 and already are covered in little quills. They're starting to get ugly...
