OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Hello fellow Ohioans!!!

I am a new chicken mom as of the middle of last month (though my chicken journey started in December/January).

I have 6 "teenagers" and 6 day old chicks (though they are 2 days old at this point). So you can look at it as 12 chickens or 6-7 if you count by breed. :)

I just wanted to pop in and say hello!!!
welcome!

Hi all - I have four Rhode Island Reds that I'm trying to re-home. They are between 5-6 weeks old. Sad to see them go, but ended up with too many :(. I'm fairly certain one is a roo, possibly two. They have been handled frequently and get along well with the others. Hoping they can go together. I'm between Cinci & Dayton (outside Oxford, OH).

I posted this in the Rehoming thread but wanted to put it here too. These two little cockerels are looking for new homes. One is a Silver Sebright, the other is a Porcelain d’Uccle. Hatch date for both is 3/10/20. I’m in Oak Harbor which is 40 minutes east of Toledo. Thanks!

Hello Ohioans. I am from Fairfield, Oh. North of Cincinnati, no chickens yet. Have to change a few little pesky ordinances. I would love to talk to anyone in the general area, especially those in a comparable sized city (55 to 80 thousand, more or less) that does allow chickens. Also am particularly interested in any laws/regulations/ordinances in use if you would not mind sharing them or given the city name I can usually muddle through and find them in most cities websites. I would love both success stories and unsuccessful stories about city programs and/or any links you would care to provide.

Thank you in advance
Hopefully a soon to be chicken owner

Hi everyone! :frow
Greetings from Canada (although I used to live in the Buckeye State myself)

I'm updating the BYC Breeders' Directory. If you sell hatching eggs, chicks or birds and would like to be added, just drop me a PM.

There's a few listings from OH already, but I'm sure that there's more of you out there. Here's what I have so far: BYC Breeders' Directory

Hello Ohioans! I'm a new duck mom as of this morning. I ordered 3 ducklings, but 2 have sadly passed, likely due to shipping stress. So I have one lonely little duckling that needs a friend or two. Anybody in Ohio have some ducklings I could buy?

Thanks!
