Thanks, I felt so safe putting them out since it was so warm but they were at that peeping stage with no Momma duck to protect them. I had gotten the two from a local feed store. It broke my heart to find them both dead after only being out for a few days. The next two I bought were inside for a lot longer and have done just fine since they are full grown. Hopefully that is my first and last coon attack.Oh dear! That's terrible! We've been pretty blessed around here between bunnies and chickens they have their pick tho. You too Mark. It is beautiful outside and my Ducks are loving it. My one in question ended up being a drake. I was so hoping for a female. Spring will tell how long he gets to stay with the ladies. I hope all of your flock are doing well. Have a great weekend!!!Good morning folks, have a wonderful day!![]()
You sure are correct!Went to the community park for a nice walk earlier today. Saw two beautiful swans in one of the ponds. I'm assuming trumpeter, correct Mark? @swampfox440 View attachment 3682184
What eggs do you plan on incubating Mark? How many Swans do you have right now and do you still have ducks? I have my 15 Ducks, two little Finch birds in the house and my 2 small dogs. That's all I can handle where I am and I am stretching it to have that many animals, lol.Good evening, I worked on my incubator today I almost have the heat elements mounted, but I need to pick up some door hinges and mount the seal.
