I just set 24 Buckeye eggs, 12 NH eggs, 3 duck eggs and 2 cochin eggs last night at 7:30. Temps are holding steady and the humidity is holding about 35 percent. My 19 little stinkers from the last hatch are doing great and playing pinball with each other in the brooder! Life is good - now if it would just warm up here in NW Ohio, I could think about getting my ornery little chicks out to the barn eventually! They are almost 3 weeks old and love being in the house - lots of attention every time I move. They are so cute but I can already start seeing the roos........most of the roos will be Sunday dinner in a few months and that just breaks my heart - they all have so much personality! Hope we don't get the 9 inches of snow tonight they are calling for - still don't understand if earth is getting warmer why this has been such a cold miserable winter!
