OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

I am from Seffield vlg, Ohio. I won't be getting my chicks till spring, but am very excited about them. I have read everything I can get my hands on about chickens. I can't wait to get started. I think I'm really a farm girl at heart. I've never been happy in the city, but now i can at least have my girls.

Hello Buckeyes!
Anybody know when the lucasville trade dates are? I've heard two different dates.

Oops, forgot to mention that our chickens reside just south of Grove city, which is just south of Columbus.

Welcome to BYC! I am a little new to this page but I have found it to be so helpful! I am now addicted to the site! So many nice people here! I am in Lancaster, well that is my mailing address, I am really southeast of Lancaster, almost Amanda!

Hello GabbysGarden! Welcome to BYC. I know someone in Grove city...well, I know someone who knows someone in Grove city. Lol, my friend has a crush that lives there so I hear about that place all the time.

I'm a bit south of you, in the Dayton area. Is it as damp and chilly up there as it is down here? I've been reading some fantastic stuff on here about keeping the gals happy during the rainy season. I have a lot of work to do to fix my muddy yard.

Enjoy getting back into chicken raising. Even after 30 years it's just like falling off a bike, or riding a log, or something like that.

Hey you locals!

Just had my puffiest Cochin go broody, first time I've ever had a chicken go broody and would like to take advantage of it, my rooster is still a cockerell so he is of no help to me for this.

I live in the Orient/Mt sterling area - anyone in Columbus, london, circleville etc have 6-8 eggs I can buy from them that are likely fertile? I'll take anything as long as they arn't too expensive and the rooster has been hard at work hehe. Message me please!
