Ohio National....Who's all going?

Ok just went out & took some pics in the barn. Color dosen't come out as bright in there, stupid flash washes it out, but you can get the gist.
Salmon is just like the Salmon Faverolle color, just in Silkie feathers. Those who saw my guy in Ohio at Lucasville really liked it.

The only difference is that Silkies have the crest that has the deap red with straw color on the tips, and not completely straw like the faverolles.

Pearl is the name given to the Smokey whites that people have been working on. The color will get more richer with every generation.

The color is very noticable in person.

Does anyone have some BO started chicks or pullets they can bring for sale to me? I don't need many, just enough to make a trio of laying hens for next years fair for the kids. Also, again I'm looking to sell two pair of Mille Fleur D'anvers, and an assortment of started chicks...Seramas, Crele and Blue Wheaten OE's. I may be giving these guys away in the parking lot late Saturday afternoon if my daugther decides not to show her Serama...

So keep an eye out for me, my Serama are pretty nice...

Also, I may be in the market for some Bantam Buff Cochins, and some Buff Silkies.

Thanks!!!

got our entry mailed off too..... We are showing some of our BLRWs at this show for the first time. We might get laughed at with it being a wyandotte national, but hey, who cares. Also showing some other colors of Wyandottes, Sebastopol geese and some call ducks. Looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making some new ones.

Yay! My family and I will be attending this year as spectators and possibly buyers:) We will be looking for some breeder quaility Wyandottes(1 rooster and 3-4 hens). If anyone knows a good golden laced breeder let me know!

New to chickens and planning on attending the Ohio National as a spectator/potential buyer and looking for a few standard Gold-Lace Cochins or standard Gold-Lace Wyandottes. Anyone have something that would be available?

Also, for those that have gone in the past, am I better to go down Friday evening or Saturday morning if bird shopping is on my agenda?

THANKS!

I plan on going this year as I have never been to this show. But we shall see how things work out between now and then. I wont be showing anything and hopefully wont find anything to buy, well at least not to much, lol. Hope I get to go and see all my ole Cochin buddies. Its been awhile since I have seen or talked to alot of them.

oberhasli01: I would suggest going on Friday. A show this big is bound to have alot of good bird and if your looking for something in particular the sooner you get there the better.
