Ohio National....Who's all going?

I was just wondering if I should have received a conformation on my entry for the Show. I would hate to get there with a truck load of birds and find out that my entry got lost.

We have had entries that never got to us. Usually though the entry arrives two weeks after the show. I cannot recall of any one arriving without an entry on record that it was not taken care of. We always get it worked out. After all this is The OHIO NATIONAL.

If you would like reassurance just e mail the Secretary, Eric Markley at [email protected] and ask if the entry was received or not.

A little bit of information- the 575 sale cages for rent have all been paid for. That will be a lot of birds available for sale.

My sister (partner in crime) and I are going. I'll be picking up some BEI drakes there. If we can make it a girl's trip, I'll take more $$!

Wonder if anyone would have a LF Blue Wyandotte Cockerel?

I have a BLRW - are you open to that? He was born in April, and is a very nice guy. The Ohio National is his last chance to get a home before I call the auction man, or put him on Craigslist. I want him to go to a "poultry" person.

The backup hotel, the Comfort Inn (Hilton Garden has been booked), is now full except for one king jacuzzi suite! Somebody get it now before you are Out. Of. Luck.

I'll be bringing Dutch. I entered a few Polish, but I think I'll be leaving them at home. My bantams just aren't in good enough feather condition right now. I had a LF Polish take champion continental at the Sussex show in NJ last weekend, but I hadn't entered any LF in the National. I just wanted to take the bantams--easier to deal with! The Dutch are a bit on the young side yet, but they are just so easy, I'm going to bring them anyway. They might not be competitive, but since I am new to them I really want the experience to learn what I am doing right & wrong! I took them to NJ last weekend and I learned a LOT by showing them against other Dutch, so I'm sure I'll learn even more at Ohio (which is also the Dutch national this year).

You know you want that jacuzzi suite...

Yup, except that I am going late Friday afternoon in hopes of buying some birds. They would cramp my style in the jacuzzi.
