Ohio train wreck

The Ohio farm groups I am in are full of threads about this right now and I am contemplating if there is anything we should (within what is possible) be doing for our animals.
I don’t know that was part of my reason for starting this thread. It was silent and even though I’m west of it a bit I have concern for this people and PA with the winds blowing the chemicals that way.

The city of East Palestine had a town hall meeting last night. The CEO of the railroad company was supposed to be there. Guess who ditched at the last second? And the railroad hired an independant company to test the waters and air around the area, EPA hasn't tested it yet. But our governor has said if he was there, he would be drinking bottled water
If I lived in that area I'd be getting my own truly independent tests done..... CTEH (the "independent" company hired by Norfolk Southern) has a history of minimizing the effects of environmental disasters to satisfy its corporate employers. https://kanekoa.substack.com/p/east-palestine-toxicology-test-relies

Tucker on Fox News did a 20 minute segment with people living there last night. He interviewed a couple that talked about the testing. It’s worth watching. They refused to sign hold harmless on giving access to their land to test ect…. Glad to see when the government is potentially needed they are also no where to be found.
