Ohio train wreck

Just venting here... So I just found out today that three different companies have submitted applications in my village (very quietly, some time ago) to start asphalt and concrete manufacturing operations within less than a quarter mile from one another, in a box all around where I live (they're buying up the farmland) which is just on the edge of town where it turns to rural. One of them has already started building and they haven't even been approved yet. All 3 of these sites are right next to houses and residential neighborhoods and these companies are wanting to re-zone the area. One company has an owner that is even on the zoning board. I'm about 2-3 miles away from the big Intel site in Ohio. I've been already stressing about that and now this happens... and I'm being told that the only thing us Villagers can even do is appeal to the EPA, which is already lying about big industry's impact on our state? I've heard such bad things about asphalt manufacturing, I don't know what to do.

I’m north of sunbury 15 minutes and have 6 acres for sale next to me …. Come on out!

Anything higher in acreage? 10 acres or more?
If we could afford 6 acres I would do it in a heartbeat. We just bought our house here 2 years ago and even though the value has skyrocketed, interest rates are so high now we couldn't afford to move. I wanted more space but we had to be happy with our 1 acre, and I have loved every inch of it.

I watched them seize land from a farmhouse to put a peanut in state route 61 because people can’t drive. Lost about 1/4 acre off the front of the property and no one out here wanted it. Watched people run flashing solar stop signs so it finally came to that. Nothing is safe. They just do what they want and we keep paying taxes.
