Several varietys of pasta, rice, cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup, spaghetti sauce, cheddar cheese, Mexican blend cheese, milk, cream, canned mushrooms, a variety of veggies, eggs of course, potatoes, and a large variety of seasonings.
Ok, lets see....hmmmm...chop up some onion, celery, any kind of sweet pepper and saute in skillet with butter, oil, or bacon drippings. Boil your spaghetti until just tender (not too soft). Grease a big casserole dish with butter or oil. Drain your spaghetti and add a little butter to it, stir in your sauted veggies and add can of mushroom soup thinned out with a little cream or milk. You can add more veggies depending on what you have...broccoli would be good, maybe even corn. You could try the potatoes too, but I think they would be better on the side. Anyway...combine the chicken, spaghetti and the veggie-soup mixture (should be kinda creamy/juicy), season to taste (whatever you like) pour into the casserole and bake about 30-45 minutes (until good hot through and bubbling). While that is cooking, grate the cheese (whichever one you like-I like to use the Mexican blend cheese sometimes-adds a little kick). Sprinkle over the top of the casserole once it is good and hot, stick back in oven and turn it off. Let it stay in until cheese melts good. Stewed potatos are good (peel and boil until tender-pour out some of liquid and use cornstarch or flour with water to make a thickener) put the flour/water mix into the water that is left in the pan of potatoes and continue simmering until it starts to thicken. Season with butter, pepper or whatever yall like. Make sure you salt the water of the potatoes as you cook them, they don't absorb salt well once they are cooked, but you probably know how to cook potatos already...so I'll shut up! lol Or you could just bake the potatoes to save time-no peeling. Anyway, what ever other vegetable you want to cook on the side, maybe something green?, with some bread or rolls, or even biscuits, slice some tomatoes or a salad...your set.
