Ok. Anyone use a toilet tank with PVC pipe and nipples?

I've looked on BYC.... I've checked out some toilet tanks at habitat for humanity..... Has anyone used them as part of their chicken watering system? We live in Texas, so I'm not worried about it freezing (well, not worried too much). What am I missing here? It has two bottom holes, which would be perfect with tubes/PVC and the poultry nipples. I figure the the toilet tank would keep the water colder for longer in the summer when I need to dump ice in?

Sounds like an interesting idea, especially if you have a water supply that will refill the tank as the birds drink it.
