    OK, so maybe the other one isn't my rare chick. Is this one an EE? and I am thinking it is a roo... Your opinions please?

    It's an EE. I have one that looks almost exactly like yours, and is about the same age, too.

    I guess they really did give me an ameraucana/ee with my ameraucana/ee order as my free chick! Oh, well.

    Green legs is a clue, I think EE.
    Couldn't begin to guess wether boy or girl.
    Have you tried the 'hold on their back and if don't stop kicking it's a roo' ? [​IMG]
    Or the 'hold a ring on the end of a string and dangle it over their belly and if it goes round and round its a girl, or up and down its a boy' LOL!! Just kidding! [​IMG]

    I would say EE's....and would have to guess....pullets. Where are the experts?? Spekledhen?? She would know. She is GOOD!

    I knew this would be the place to help me identify two of my new chicks! They are exactly like the ones in the photo...trouble is, I do not know what an "EE" is! I have some experience with chickens, but it has not included this kind before. I hope somebody will reply and tell me what an "EE" is!

    EE...Easter Egger. They lay blue...green....pink..and light tan...eggs. They are a little bundle of surprise. I have 3 grown hens...they lay pinkish eggs, and 5 new babies...hopeing for blue and green! [​IMG] I will know by late August, should be laying by then!
