OK, I give Up!

Just collect the eggs and put them in the nest you've made for her
but even then she may not go broody.
Or you can artificially incubate them.
Or use them for scrambled eggs and hope things work out better next year.
Most likely in time she will figure things out.
Do not separate her from her mate.
Just leave them together and be patient.
When you're working with animals and crops there are no guarantees.
