My Cinnamon Queens are suppose to be from RIR roos and Leghorn hens. I have about 12 left now. They lay brown eggs and are prolific at it. The winter months have been hard on all my birds. I get about 2 eggs a day from about 80 hens. This does suck. I can not wait for spring, then again I will have to get a new frig to handle the eggs before we can give them away to family and friends.

From what I can find, Red Shavers are very popular in New Zealand. The folks there don't like white eggs as much as brown. My kinda folks.
