Ok - I've lost my noodle - what did I hatch?

Off topic but I have a EE rooster with feathered legs. Thought it was a hen or would not have it at all.

well i was thinking about it and it is totally possible for an ee to have feathered legs since they are the "mutts" of the chicken world but not something you see too often though.

i'm in a small town called New London - and yes he does have feathered leg.

What color cochins do you have?

my cochin colors are

1x frizzle red cochin rooster
2x red cochin
1x white cochin

in my other pen <<this pen didn't start laying until about 2 weeks ago so I know no egg from this
1x gold laced cochin rooster
1x mottled cochin rooster
1x black cochin hen
and 1x dark and 1x buff brahma

this is my red frizzle

are any of your seramas and cochins mixed together in the same pen? From what I understand, serama's don't breed true to their variety. But your little guy is obviously part cochin with it's feathered legs. So my guess would be you have a cross breed of the two.

the seramas and cochins are separate - they each have their own pen and never free range at the same time
coop setup - you can see a little to each 5' x 8' section
