Ok ladies and gents I need help

So I got these two birds at the same time and gave one to a buddy because I thought they were both Roos. Now I’m questioning it I got it back and let him use my roo to breed with. But I believe it really could be a hen they are the same age. Also could someone identify the breed I have three Plymouth hens and this one doesn’t look like them if it is a female. The head pic and the pic with my son is a roo for sure.

Barred Plymouth Rock males I believe. The males will be a lighter barred color than the females. This feature easily indentifies the gender as they start to mature.

Question: How old are they?
 
The bird in picture 3 has the color and barring of a cockerel. Can you post a profile shot showing hackle and saddle feathers ? Perhaps a slow developing cockerel or a cockerel with testicular issues.
