OK..OK.. I've had Cats, I've had Dogs, and they're GREAT!

I look forward to comming home to my flock. They all run to me as soon as I step out the door. I would rather talk to my hens then most of the people I work with. There is something very relaxing about being outside with them all.

I also have 3 dogs and 2cats. All my pets get along togeather. They are outside running and playing all the time.

I feel the exact same way. I totaly love my chickens.!!

They seem to always make me feel better when i am having a bad day. I can't wait to get home from work everyday to visit with them.

Me too, they are so much fun. I love being out in the yard working and having them running all around and flying up on me for an occassinal pet and a bit of attention. They are so much fun and I totally enjoy them. Nothing weird at all all.

Already I have 34 of various breeds, but they are like a drug!...

... I want more! I want silkies, sizzles, and several others..

Yea, we only give them cheese as a treat. The first time we did it was only to get the girls into the backyard. They are so stubborn

Just tonight, we had our little rooster inside and I asked my mom if she bought anymore cheese and Little Jerry reacted and started squaking

So they clearly know what CHEESE is

DBF and I have already decided that when our cats are gone, we won't replace them. We get what we need, pet-wise, from our chooks.

Same here. We love out cats, but 19 years with Cookie would make anyone swear off cats for a lifetime
