Thank you all..for your strength. My MIL made it through surgery last night. She is in ICU but doing well. Her and I have never really gotten along...even tho I have been married to HER SON for 28 years....but I still care for her...and dont like seeing her this way. When she is well..she is a raveing pit bull crossed with a rattle snake...but when she is ill..she is like a little lost kitten. I dont like seeing her this way. ( altho she IS a lot easier to handle) Thanks for the reminder to let go, let God. I will not stand by and let Him do it all...but I now feel the calmness to handle it all. Thanks again.
yes! i am in agreement with the others and believe God is going to do a mighty thing! i will p.m. you! God's greatest blessings to get through this with strength and joy!

We lost power for 3 days...thanks IKE!
I have not heard from my father inlaw....not sure how mother inlaw is doing...they dont have phones or power yet.
My mother was moved to a hospice house today...wednesday. She will be moved home hopefully in 3 days...under hospice care. How does this happen?? Moms are NOT supposed to become frail...and sick...and yes..I know...pass away.
I am numb with the thought of loseing her..
My B day is in October....BAD MONTH for me.

21 Oct...2000, my brother was killed while on duty..on the New Bern Sherrifs dept. N C.
Now...my mother is not well..and here comes October again!! NO NO NO!!!
