ok to sell mama goat?

Hello! Im new to all of this, was given a mama goat and her 4 month old babies as a gift and I'm really having a hard time with the mom. Every time I try to touch her, she head butts my hand. She is always hitting the babies pretty hard too. I feel like I would be able to bond with the baby goats if she wasnt around. I was wondering if it would be ok at this point to sell the mom? Or would this be cruel to seperate them? Any advice? Thanks!

You can sell mom. Doe raised kids are never as friendly as bottle babies. I don't think getting rid of the mom will help with taming them, but it isn't cruel to do so. All goats butt each other, some do it more than others but it is normal. The only goats that bonded with me are bottle babies. That's a great gift to receive, no one ever bought me goats as a gift.
