Okay I am gonna try again!!! Pictures!!!!

I must have counted wrong, or maybe my eggs started to develop before I set my hatch, because I've got a Light Brahma pipping in the incubator. I wasn't expecting to see any action until around August 6th. I hope

this doesn't mean I had a heat spike in my incubator. Too much heat can cause a few to hatch early and the rest to quit.

still just one pip it's still working slowly out of 17 eggs this is the only one so far. I am not seeing movement from any of the other 16 eggs.

Is the due date 8/6? If so, you may just have an early pip, he could take a couple of days to actually hatch. Some pip before the yolk's absorbed, and just hatch really s-l-o-w. The rest will probably just be more on schedule.

Just keep the humidity (55%-60%, is what works well for me) and temp good, keep your hands off, and I hope you have a good hatch!

I have another pip!!!!

And yes dancing bear they are due on the 6th. This first pip is still a pip a little bigger so it's just working slow! Thank you so much for the support!

I've had a couple Barnevelders and a few Light Brahma hatch today. I also had one Gold Laced Cochin arrive a day early. I have lots of wiggling eggs. I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow. It's going to be tough to leave the house if I still have unhatched eggs in the morning.

One Barnevelder, who should probably be named Rotisserie Chicken, sleeps on his back and then on his tummy. He flips over and back to stay toasty on both sides.
